Lauren and Jason met in 2018 while both were attending graduate school in Los Angeles. Jason spotted Lauren at a local running club and set out to impress her - he set a running club course record that day, but more importantly succeeded in catching Lauren's eye. Jason made the first move and the rest is history!

Over the next four years, Lauren subtly(?) convinced Jason of the merits of a life in Colorado, and they made the move on August 12, 2022. Soon after their move, Jason took Lauren on a hike to the beautiful Maroon Bells, where he proposed to her amongst the golden yellow aspen trees. They can't wait to tie the knot!
